Code of conduct

The organizers are committed to ensuring an inclusive and productive conference for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, or religion. All participants are to abide by the code of conduct detailed below. The organizers will not tolerate harassment in any form.

Behave professionally. Harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary comments or jokes are not appropriate.
Harassment includes sustained disruption of talks, inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and photography or recording of an individual without consent. It also includes offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality or religion.
All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience and inclusive of attendees from different backgrounds. Refrain from any personal comments during the questions/discussions and be open to different viewpoints and constructive criticism.
Be kind and respectful to others. Do not insult or belittle other attendees.
We strongly recommend asking for permission from the attendee(s) before sharing photos or content of the talks or posters on social media.

Please contact the LOC in case you should witness or experience any events of bullying, harassment, aggression, or violation of the code of conduct.

This code of conduct is based on the “London Code of Conduct”, as originally designed for the conference “Accurate Astrophysics. Correct Cosmology”, held in London in July 2015. The London Code of Conduct was adapted with permission by Andrew Pontzen and Hiranya Peiris from a document by Software Carpentry](http://software-carpentry.org/conduct.html), which itself derives from original Creative Commons documents by PyCon and Geek Feminism. It is released under a CC-Zero license for reuse.
